Hello everyone and welcome to my blog about Korea and Korean culture.
I was lucky enough to be selected as part of the Honorary Reporter Program for 2022 with the Korean Cultural Center in Canada and I will be carrying this title with pride. Although my love of Asian art and culture began in my early teenage years, I have recently become particularly interested in Korean culture. The Hallyu wave has done a fantastic job at introducing many of us to Korea but the more I learned the more I diversified my interests.
My current interests move beyond K-pop and K-drama as they are vested in arts and culture, movies and beauty.
I look forward to traveling to Korea in the near future to experience some of this in person. Until then, I will do my best to bring a bit of the knowledge I have gained to you, the reader, through short and fun blog posts.
